The recent mini garden ramble and garden  cutting, plants sale was a great success. Thanks to Diane Elliot and Jenny/ Tom Mravicich for opening their gardens.

The garage sale and garden day raised approx $2000. Thanks to all the helpers.

Carol service
 This was held 9th Dec. It was  a lovely evening of traditional Christmas Carols led by the Community Choir.
 Many Thanks to Stu Green for taking the choir and for Susan Han for her talented accompanying.
 Christmas Cheer Parcels
Monday 10th Dec. The morning was spent with the ladies from St Paschals putting together Christmas Cheer Parcels. these were distributed to some elderly and families in the area who need a little support over this time.
Cranberry Jam
Thames Once a Month. The final run for this year was Thursday 13th December. It will resume again in February.

Care and Friendship Luncheon
Care and Friendship  Christmas Luncheon was held on Thursday Dec 6th. The meal was catered by the Lionesses and was excellent. Mr and Mrs Fisher from Turua and Lyn Mitchell provided the music. There were lots of sing along items.
Community garden

Courgettes are ready. Boysenberries and raspberries are good for picking.

any extra watering or weeding would be much appreciated.

 Many thanks to the Church who are taking care of the lawnmowning over the Christmas break.

The Corrections Dept support us often by doing much of the heavy work and lawn mowing. We give them thanks!

People continue to leave produce from their gardens to share with others at the sharing table. Thank you to those people who leave koha - this what keeps the garden going.
